MyMax NFC Sticker

MyMaxis a thin electronic sticker designed to add NFC communication capability to the existing mobile phones. It uses Bluetooth communication to connect to the phone and integrates an internal rechargeable battery to get power independently of the phone battery. The battery can be recharged using RF Field using a charger supplied with the sticker or any other contactless reader. MyMax2 is maintained on the back of the phone by a flexible transparent holder.

MyMax offers the 4 different operating modes:

1. Card mode: In this mode MyMax2 behaves just like a contactless card. Any contactless chip can be integrated into the sticker making it immediately compatible with the existing contactless applications. The internal battery is not used in this mode as the contactless chip is powered by the external reader.

Supported  Secure Elements:

  • • Javacard
  • • Paypass (Mastercard) and Visa Wave (Visa)
  • • Calipso/Navigo
  • • Mifare 1k and 4k
  • • Other Secure Elements can be integrated under request
  • • None: in this case the sticker has not Card Mode

2. Internal Mode: In this mode, MyMax2 has to be switched on what results in connecting the phone to the sticker via Bluetooth. Phone can activate the sticker by execution of a dedicated command in the application Midlet. Once the sticker connected, information stored in the Secure Element can be written/read by the phone.

3. Reader Mode:In this mode, MyMax2 has to be switched on. It can be activated either by execution of a dedicated command in the phone Midlet or by detection of a contactless card or tag presence. It behaves as a contactless reader able to read and write to external contactless cards or tags and transfer data to the mobile phone.

4. P2P Peer-to-Peer Mode: In this mode, MyMax2 has to be switched on. It can be activated either by execution of a dedicated command in the phone Midlet or by approaching the sticker to another sticker or NFC phone. This mode allows to exchange information between 2 mobile phones.
